Buy MacBook Pro with Norwegian keyboard

Hi!

I am a Norwegian student who currently studies abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia until the end of May. My MacBook Pro suddenly stopped working and I need a computer. I want to buy a new MacBook Pro with a Norwegian keyboard, but I cannot find any possible way to buy this in Australia. I have been to the Apple Store in Sydney and Bondi Junction, but they cannot help me order one. It seems like I have to get someone in Norway to buy one for me and ship it to me or bring it to me here in Australia. The only problem is that it seems like I have to pay some taxes and customs on the computer if I ship it from Norway to Australia and then it will not be affordable for me to buy another MacBook Pro. Does anyone know if it is possible for Apple to make a special order on a MacBook Pro with a Norwegian keyboard that makes it possible for me to buy one her in Australia?

Not so bad,

that is fixable, sort of :)

without spending to much, get a USB keyboard to get your Mac going (so you can at lest login)

Once you are logged in you can use the On-screen keyboard, so you do not have to carry the external keyboard with you.

Since you are in Australia you will be mostly using English keys.

For those occasion when you have to write in Norwegian we can help you how to do that for the special characters.

or this one also (on screen)

The only way to do such a thing would be via an Apple store in Australia, and you have already tried that. Apple stores do not sell outside their own country, so your only option to get such a machine is to have one privately sent or brought to you there.

An alternative would be buy a standard US or British keyboard model and use stickers or a skin to reflect the Norwegian input source you would be setting it to.

It doesn’t seem like the technicians at Apple Support knows how to fix the problem. It startes out with a few of the keys not working, so I did not manage to log into my Mac Account, but I had Windows partitioning, so I switched to Windows. After I did that I have tried all the keyboard commands, but it will not go back to my Mac partition, and after my latest visit at the Apple Store all of my keys stopped working. Even the on and of button is disfunctional now :(

Yeah! But we have tried to boot into the Mac partition with another keyboard in the Apple Store, but it always continues to start in the windows-partition. Sometimes when I log in it seems like the z-button is stuck (not physically) because when I open the browser it only writes «zzzzzz...» without me touching anything. It might be that this z-button makes it impossible to boot from an external keyboard too. But they did not know what to do at the Apple Store here.
