I've gone through two new Xfinity xFi gateways and both would disconnect internet services on all connected devices whenever I make or take a call on my iPhone 8 Plus. Has anyone else had this problem. Wireless Gateway tech at Xfinity support had never heard of the problem.
Do you have Wi-Fi Calling enabled on your phone? It's in Settings/Cellular.
Wi-Fi Calling was not enabled with either the previous router/modem from Xfinity or the new xFi router/modem. Has something changed with this new gateway? I will enable Wi-Fi calling to see if this rectifies the disconnection issue. Thanks.
I was going the other way, thinking that perhaps Wi-Fi calling was the culprit.
