How to identify and delete obsolete (and potentially unsafe) System Extensions under MacOS Mojave?
Here's the thing.... Apple decides to upgrade Mac OS my system crashes, and all system extensions are disabled/blocked on my Mac. I then get tons of messages from all installed apps to give permission and allow those system extensions to operate under Mac OS Mojave. This in itself is a VERY annoying process.
Looking at the I'm presented with plenty of system extensions that I don't need anymore or that indeed unsafe to use because the developer didn't bother updating them. Unfortunately, Apple's security and privacy preference pane that "system extensions from the following developers were blocked" without giving any advice on how to identify or delete these extensions. How stupid is that? Doing a search for developer names doesn't bring any results either. And I don't feel comfortable deleting entire folder that the underlying app(s) might still be using. After all, it's just the old system extension that's causing the problem.
Question: Is there a way to identify the system extension that is blocked and find out its path to delete it?
