My mac went to sleep now the SD card will not mount

My MacBook Pro 13 inch Retina went to sleep and now I don't have access to the SD card reader

SD card slot on iMac I upgraded to Monterery OS yesterday and shut down after installation. I re-opened the iMac this morning to discover that the SD card slot does not work. I also tried my husband's Apple USB C to SD card reader but that wouldn't work either. I checked various SD cards to make sure none were faulty and the result was still the same: no card opened. Any ideas how to solve this one please?

SD cards keeps ejecting randomly Hello everyone, My M1 Macbook Air keeps ejecting my SD card, I bought a new one thinking that this would resolve the problem, but it doesn't so I bought a new card reader and...same problem! If I don't open the SD card's folder everything is good, but wen I open it 10 second and BOOM ejected randomly. I tried to format the SD too with Utility, and reset SMC but nothing! sd card reader sierra Mac So my mac once again wont show in devices and i need the pictures asap. I was told once to turn off for 30 mins then hold start key for 10 secs when turning on but make sure no external things connected ? But I must have missed something as it wont show on desktop or devices again its a compact flash reader i meant.

Log yourself out then log back in.

If that does not work, restart the Macbook
