Burn disc is grayed out

I have many titles in iTunes and the burn disc is grayed out. Why?

Create a playlist of what you want to burn. Right-click on the list and use Burn Playlist to Disc from the context menu. Note you cannot burn Apple Music items or anything that is in the cloud.

Itunes grayed out songs A long time ago, when computers had the CD accessory on the side of it, and you could burn a CD into your iTunes library, I burned a bunch of my CDs into my iTunes library. Now, many of those songs are gray and I cannot play them. Does anyone know why this happens and how it can be fixed? Thanks
