AppleTV will not let me use my photos for screensaver?

Maybe this has been answered and I just cannot find it.

AppleTV 4K. Unable to watch my photos as the screensaver.

Old AppleTV upstairs lets me watch a pre-selected folder of photos AND runs music with it.

Do I have some setting wrong or does the new AppleTV 4k not have this function? If it doesn't, it is truly a step backwards and stinks big-time because it was a major draw for my family.

Thanks -

If you have iCloud Photo Library enabled you can set it directly using the photos app on Apple TV

If you want to share a folder from your iMac then make sure it’s shared from iTunes (files - home sharing - choose photos to share). Then go to Apple TV settings - general - screensaver - type - home sharing. It will need a few minutes to cache, the Mac must remain on and running iTunes while it does this.
