safari bookmarks

I am really disappointed that Safari in Mojave still does not provide the ability to organize bookmark folders alphabetically. This would be helpful since as you add new folders they become difficult to locate if they are not listed alphabetically. I used to be able to use Safari Sort to achieve this alpabetic organization, however it not no longer works in Mojave. If anyone else wants to be able to organize their folders alphabetically, the only solution I have found is to export the Safari bookmarks to an HTML folder onto the Desktop. I then import them into Firefox: click the Bookmarks drop down list and choose "Show all Bookmarks". I then click on the Star button and choose "Import bookmarks from HTML" and then choose the Safari Bookmarks HTML file on my desktop. In the Firefox bookmark "Show all Bookmarks" window, I right-click on "Bookmarks Menu" and click on "Sort by Name" from the pop-up list. This organizes the folders alphabetically. I then click on the Star button again and choose "Export bookmarks as HTML" to my desktop. I then go back into Safari and delete all of the bookmarks. I then go to the "File" drop-down list and choose "Import from" and choose "Bookmarks HTML file". This brings up a Finder window from which I can choose the Firefox Bookmarks HTML file saved on my desktop. I then click on "Import" and the Bookmark folders are imported in alphabetic order. I realize this is a time consuming task and may backfire, however I know of no other method (nor can I find one by means of a Google search). I have written this so that others can try it if they wish. I give no guarantees that it will work for everyone and stress that anyone who tries this DOES SO AT THEIR OWN RISK OF LOSING THEIR BOOKMARSK. I also write this in the hope that Apple will feel embarrassed that they have yet to incorporate this basic Bookmarks editing task into Safari after 12 versions of the program and do something about it.
