I have a great deal of music that I'd like access to, but I only want to play what I've downloaded to my iPhone Xs. Is there any way to do that or am I going to have to listen and fast forward through those that I'm not currently interested in?

You can make a Smart Playlist that contains the rule "Location" "Is" "On This Computer." That will exclude songs that reside only in the cloud.

In the Music app on your iPhone tap Edit at the top right corner and enable the Downloaded Music menu item, then click done. You can then tap Downloaded Music to explore only what is on the device.

I ONLY want to play downloaded music from iTunes, nothing from the cloud. Can I do that?
