Loading music

With my new IPad Pro it doesn’t seem to allow me to load any music to iTunes other than through the iTunes Store or Apple Music. Have I lost the options of downloading from CD or other MP3 files?

You can do import music into Apple Music using a CD or MP3 if you are doing this on a Mac. This i not possible on iOS devices including iPad Pro.
