Extracting only a portion of data from a cell in Numbers
I'm looks for a formula that will help me extract the numeric digits after the B if the content in a cell is B2984 for example. Many thanks
Here are a couple of ways.
The first is the easiest if you always have a B first followed by 4 numerals.
The second will work if you have different numbers of numerals after B.
There are many other ways. In your menu you can go to Help > Formulas and Functions Help and look in the Text
Functions section.
