my command shift and tilda to switch chrome windows stopped working

last update and I feel awfully stupid now ... I rebooted after switching back from guest and it's working now! Thank you @dialabrain!!!

I'm sad to have to report in on this again...it was working beautifully until I opened MS Word. As soon as I opened up word, the command+tilda stopped working. Do you know if this is a known bug or something else with Mojave? I can't not use Word and usually have a lot of chrome windows open - not having a way to toggle really slows me down. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

@dialabrain - I'm sorry, I can't make out the symbol I should press - so you're saying skip the shift, I'll definitely try it. I feel like I tried every key with Command but it's not working.

thanks again - I doublechecked my keyboard settings and they're exactly like yours - still not working. I noticed it after I did the Mojave upgrade.

Yes, that worked in the guest account
