Do not disturb not allowing favorite calls

My phone is not allowing favorite calls during do not disturb mode is activated. It only receives missed call allert and calling number is notified as phone is busy announcement. Does anybody have idea how could i get rid of this ?

If you have done the following...

Settings > Do not Disturb > Allow Calls from > Favourites
On Phone App - You have add your favourites Contacts
Those Favourites Contacts have correct Phone Numbers in Phone Number format

- Make sure it is in this format: + country code (area code) phone number (like: +1 217 721 0000) if it is not in this format, change it and fit in this format. This may be an issue especially if you have international contacts saved.
