Should i Order iphone 4 through att or apple?

hey people i was just wondering if i should order my iphone 4 through att or apple? its just a question to help me chose from where to order. please list your experience with ordering and everything else. i just want my iphone 4 to get here as soon as possibe!!!! i will probably order monday morning or so. oh and dont get me wrong i know ill probably have to wait about 3-4 weeks to get it but i wanted to know your experiences dealing with apple or att...umm cough cough..crappy provider..umm sorry =] thanx

from what i've been reading on here your best bet is to order from att, my sister ordered on 6/16 from apple.com and still hasn't received her phone. i read someone on here ordered 6/23 from att and they have their phone. looks like att orders are being taken care of first

1. I heard that Apple is shipping is taking 3 weeks. Is it true that they are shipping from China ? I read that someone in the discussion forums. Is it better to wait longer and get newer iPhone 4 devices ?

2. Since AT&T is shipping out faster, is it possible they have the original iPhone 4 that currently have problem with antenna signal and the yellow spot on the screen ?

They all have the "antenna problem"... as for the yellow spots, getting the iPhones now probably means they've been sitting around long enough for the bonding agent to dry on its own.

okay so i got my iphone 4 on the 13th. i ordered on sunday the 11th at night through att. the order was processed and shipped on monday and i got my iphone on tuesday at 1 pm.
i fully charged it and plugged it in to itunes, and activated it through att's website. everything went smooth and made a test call, and i thought the sound was extremely low...i started to panic..checked the volume and it was all the way up..i then realized the plastic cover was still on haha oopps!!
i tried to replicate the "death grip"...and only one bar dropped. i had 3 bars the whole time(what i usually got with my 3g) and after i held it in many grips, i only got one bar to drop. and i could still make calls. so far after playing with it for about two days, i cnat find anything wrong with it. i got a case for it in best buy and it seems okay.
