Banking apps stopped working on new iPhone XR. I suspect the problem was caused by the backup/restore copying authentication data specific to the old phone onto the new one, but what is the solution?

Solved it by deleting APP downloading it again after answering security questions and double authentication. Why that worked today and not last night I’m unsure. Thanks for reaching out
Though this is App specific question but since it is sensitive I am trying to answer.
Banking Apps are very secure App. Any BackUp or Restore will not get your Password and Security Code back on to it.
You have to store them on Keychain.
What is the issue, exactly? What does "not working" mean? What happens when you try to log in?
