Not able to use face time on my MacBookPro laptop

I'm unable to sign in through the facetime app on my macbook. It gives me a error - an error occurred during activation, please try again. However, I was able to login using https://appleid.apple.com.


Please advise

MacBook Pro 13", 10.14
