Office 365 for Mac problems
Microsoft support said Apple would give an activation code - Apple say log on to your Microsoft Account - how on earth can I start using Word asap when I can't get past this activation issue.

To use MS Office you have to purchase a yearly subscription - you don't get an activation code. Having purchased a subscription you'll get a Microsoft account and you activate by logging into the account. Thereafter every once in a while when you launch one of the Office apps you may be prompted to log back into your MS account to reactivate.
