Unable to make or receive any type of calls

My phone crashed yesterday and since then I have been unable to make or receive any calls. I have tried normal phone calls, wifi calling, what's app, messenger, FaceTime - both audio and video. I get call failed every time. If my phone rings I answer it and the time on call comes up but nothing there.

So far I have tried to reset network settings, taken out my sim card and cleaned, I have even restored my iPhone. But the problem is still happening.

Any help on how to fix this would be great.

A technician in the Apple store assisted me with this issue. Go to settings> Reset> reset all settings. Once the reset is complete your phone should be able to send and receive calls.

Sounds like a case for an Apple Support.

Contact them directly so they could run some diagnostics and find out what is an issue.

I am having the same problem. My phone app comes up blank and I cannot make or receive phone calls. At one time I could not send text messages, but that seems to be working so far. I have rebooted, restored network settings, turned airplane mode on and off. Still nothing. HELP!

Me too! I have tried everything shy of resetting and starting like it’s a new device! (I have a 7 plus)

The weirdest thing of all is that I can receive calls only when I’m connected via Bluetooth in the car! I still can’t MAKE them, but I can answer!
