Mac Pro (late 2013) CMOS battery
Seems we need to replace the CMOS battery ... before we dig in to find Apple have likely used an unbranded/blank battery ...
What spec battery do we need for successful replacement?!
Cheers in advance

Apple uses a BR2032. A CR2032 will work but will have shorter life.

CR2032 are used in garage door opener controls and car-key fobs, so they are readily available.
This is a non-recharging, long life Lithium coin cell, nominal 3 Volts. If the one you take outs under 3 volts, it is used up.
The battery holder is delicate. The risk of breakage if you do not work carefully and use a very bright light is high.
Remove the one you have because it will provide the information you need.
