unzipping problem
In order to send big files one has to zip them on the desktop before mailing. I was trying to send folders which self zipped and became corrupted. Whew!

The fellow at Apple support suggested the fix. He speculated the folders I was trying to email were too big and were automatically being zipped. In the process maybe they were corrupted so he suggested I zip or compress them myself before emailing or Air Dropping.
Voila- it worked.
I zip the folders then email. They subsequently opened easily and the info contained was correct.
