i can't use my iphone 6 s plus due to activation problem.The jio sim inserted in my iphone is not supported by the activation server.however the sim works in another brand phones.can anybody knows how to activate my iphone?

What store did you buy it in?
Only Apple stores sell unlocked phones, and you have to request one to get it.
You can contact Apple by clicking the Contact Support link in the upper right corner of the screen. If you provide the agent with the phone's serial number, they should be able to tell you which carrier the phone is locked to.
From there, you can decide if you wish to try to get it unlocked or sell it to someone who will be able to use it.

If you're seeing a message that says the SIM is not supported, your phone is locked to a different carrier.

iMessage is Carrier Specific issue. Please contact your Cellular Service Provider in your Area
I am from India. I have iPhone 6s, SE & 8 on Jio, Airtel and BSNL with iOS 12.1.3
iMessage is activated on all iPhones with no issue whatsoever.
i bought the phone in US.The complete message shown in my iphone 6s plus is given as under:
"The sim card that you currently have installed in this iphone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server.This is not a hardware issue with the iphone.please insert another sim card from a supported carrier or request that this iphone be unlocked by your carrier.please contact Apple for more information."
I have already contacted the cellular service provider,jio.They tried to activate my iphone.but no use.Then they advised me to contact apple support.i don,t know what to do
Your reply is very helpfull to me.I have informed my son who is in US, to unlock my phone by giving deteils of serial number and imei number of my iphone.Thank you for your technical information.
