Technical Specifications of ATT iphone X Hotspot

I'm trying to configure a device that needs all the technical specs to connect. I have to manually configure the device. It does not automatically do it for me.

Choices are

WEP

WPA PSK

WPA2 PSK

WPA Enterprise

WPA2 Enterprise

Radius

Then depending on the selection then you must state Cipher type AES CCMP or TKIP for instance if I select WPA2 PSK.

Why is this info not listed on our iphone or tech specs anywhere? I've been looking, can't find it.

Apple does not really disclose this information since in the vast majority of cases it is not necessary. However any wifi analyzer should be able to tell you those details.

In general an iPhone will produce a 2.4ghz WPA2 (RSNA-PSK AES-CCMP) network.

Typically, you will want to choose WPA2 PSK and AES CCMP to ensure that you have the best wireless security level for most non-business users.

For business users, the choices would be WPA2 Enterprise or RADIUS ... both would require that the business provide you with those answers.

I'm not going to disagree, but the iphone is fixed....it controls the hotspot configuration. I need to know what is the iPhone hotspot Configuration is?

If you are asking for help on how to configure a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone, check these articles:

You basically enable it, and then you have the option to create a password to be used to connect to it. Devices can then connect to the Hotspot by USB, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.

Where are you being asked to decide on the security type?
