Unsupported compressor 8 error

Cannot launch some applications in MacOS 10.13.6 because of the error already cited. What's the solution for this?

"the installation failed." errors installing ANY .pkg file. I recently updated my Mac to Ventura 13.2.1 - After that, I have not been able to install any software from .pkg files. Every installation ends with "The installation failed." error. At first I thought this was a problem with the software in question, but even .pkg files I've used before give me trouble. I've included a screenshot from trying to install Zoom, but this is happening with EVERY attempt to install an app from a .pkg file.

IMovie Sharing Error: com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1. Using Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6 Can't update IMovie as it says the update is incompatible . Also tried rebooting via Safe Boot, as well as deleting and reinstalling the app. Please help!

Updates have broken my system This morning I updated the OS on my iMAC to macOS Big Sur Version 11.0.1, along with this Xcode to Version 12.2 (12B45b). Before these updates I was using Qt Creator 4.13.2 Based on Qt 5.15.1, I could build projects without issue, however since the updates I can no longer build.
