Apple TV: Cutting Out / Reset button?!?

My Apple TV (two years old) was working great. We have three of them throughout house. The one we used most would cut out during a show about every 5-10 minutes. I assumed it was a wireless issue, so I called out my provider. They couldn't find a problem. My son suggested watching on my computer to see if internet was actually the issue. It was fine on the computer, so must be the Apple TV box. We also have to unplug the box to 'reset' it when it doesn't show up on the TV screen. We assumed it was just dying (even though only 2 years old ...) , so we bought a new one. Now the other two boxes are doing the same thing as the original problematic one. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a way to reset the Apple TV box from remote? Would this help with the cutting out?

That indicates a network issue, another device working doesn't rule that out.

You can try ethernet to help verify if there's an issue with the Wifi

To see a current status of the network get a report from istumbler, netstumbler or similar on your computer. Look for signal strength, noise, nearby networks

You can also test on another network, preferably a controlled one like Apple's
