Which generation is Apple TV model A1392?

I just received an older Apple TV from a friend. But, the back of it does not look like any of the pictures of the different generations. It is model A1392. I am having trouble pairing to my Macbook and getting any information from the Apple TV to my Samsung Smart TV.
