If you want each word to be in its own cell, one way to do it is to paste it into TextEdit then do Find/Replace All, finding all ", " (comma with a space after it) and replacing it with a carriage return (use option-return to make a carriage return character). After that, look through it to make sure it all worked correctly. Manually fix any areas that did not go as planned. Finally, Select All, Copy, and Paste it into the first cell of your column in Numbers.

Hi Rich,
You should be able to:
Here's the sample text I tested with:
In,, as, name, to, here, them, deny, wise, this, As, rapid, woody, my, he, me, which, Men, but, they, fail, shew, just, wish, next, put, Led, all, visitor, musical, calling, nor, her, Within, coming, figure, sex, things, are, Pretended, concluded, did, repulsive, education, smallness, yet, yet, described, Had, country, man, his, pressed, shewing, No, gate, dare, rose, he, Eyes, year, if, miss, he, as, upon,

And here is the result, after following the four steps above:
e empty rows are due to the sample text having two returns entered to separate paragraphs. Your sample text appears to have several returns in the first section—the "Operations" words will likely be placed in six separate cells, with the last word in each cell being will, with, than, who, well, and yes.
When pasted, my words were displayed as a single line of words in each cell. Select the cells, click the Format brush, choose the Text section of the Inspector, and check the Wrap text in cell checkbox to display as shown above.

Barry
