Grey screen on MacBook

So I dropped my MacBook from my bed earlier, and ever since then the screens been gray. When I hook it up to a monitor the picture is fine, and i can adjust the brightness and get sound perfectly fine. Is there anyway to fix it without taking it to a shop?

Your appointment at the genius bar at an Apple-owned store is free, in warranty or out. They will provide a free over-the-counter diagnostic and all the Hardware-oriented advice you can possibly want.

They will often preform simple checks inside and make simple repairs (that do not require parts), such as plugging in a dislodged cable, without charge.

Apple Authorized Service Providers set their own policies, which may include an evaluation fee to discourage you from using up their technician time on frivolous issues.
