My iMac isn't working well, and I have needed to shut it off to get anything to work. How can I remove the Antivirus Zap from it?

Since it was downloaded from the Mac App Store I think you should be able to remove it via Launchpad. See: How to delete apps on your Mac - Apple Support
This may help in the future. Mac OS is EXTREMELY secure and does not require any, repeat ANY antivirus, cleaning, or any other "maintenance" types of apps to remain secure. If simply kept up-to-date and other wise left alone Mac OS will run reliably for years for most users.
Hello! I was able to delete the app, but I need to see if it helps the Mac to work quickly like it did before. It keeps freezing, then I have to force quit and restart. I get the color circle pretty often, and that didn't happen much before. Thank you - I will let you know if the computer works better!
