Problem with Garageband

Hi everyone,

I tried to record some keyboard track with the standard software piano, and whatever keyboard I use (Midi, screen or typing keyboard) GB triggers each note that I'm holding down continuously.

All other programs work fine.

Can someone help me?

Notes being recorded with wrong velocity Hello, I'm using a Arturia Keylab61 as a midi controller within Logic Pro X 10.6.3 and I'm experiencing some issues with recording midi notes. I sometimes randomly get low velocities inputs being recorded, specially when there's fast tones. I get random low values such as 1 sometimes and I'm sure I'm not hitting the keys that low. I've tested with the same instruments in Ableton Live and I don't experience that, so it's probably not my midi controller. I also tried changing the buffer size, resetting the midi driver, nothing. Has anyone experienced that? What can I try? Thanks Here's what it looks like on the piano roll (purple notes are usually value 1):

Garage Band not playing audio track I have a Garage Band project with imported tracks. One is a piano midi, the other an AIFF recording of a vocal. When I click Play in Garage Band the piano plays, but the vocal is completely missing. This is what Garage Band looks like. What might have gone wrong? What can I do? I was working on another project earlier today with no problem.

Do you perhaps have an Arpeggiator enabled?

Check this in the Smart Controls for the track.

I like the arpeggiators, they come in handy sometimes. But it easy to forget, that they may be enabled.
