My keyboard is locked as is the mouse pad. Any ideas?

My keyboard and mouse pad are locked. Tried restarting computer 1500 times and no go. Any ideas?

Safe mode is hold Shift during start up

Do you have a USB cable keyboard ?

...You can also run the Hardware test

Hold the D key during start up

external keyboard

Mac Book Pro

Mac OS Mojave 10.14.3

Safe mode-- hold power button down for a few seconds? If no, then Im not sure.

Keyboard that is attached to computer.

ok just put into safe mode and keyboard is still not responding.

I have a blue tooth keyboard Im working off of.

I will try the Hardware test. Thanks
