keyboard is unresponsive

My keyboard is not working. My computer is fully charged and the power on button works but i cant move my mouse or use any other keys to sign in. i cant get past the sign in screen.

Wired Keyboard not working I was cleaning my wired keyboard. After I was done, the keyboard did not work. I restarted the computer and the keyboard not working. I am stuck on the "start-up" page and nothing happens when I type. The UBS that the keyboard is plugged into works, as other devices (such as wired mouse) works when I plug it in. Macbook pro keyboard not working I have an issue with my Macbook pro (Model A1708) keyboard. Suddenly, when trying to log in, I see that the keyboard is not responding to type my password for log in. The trackpad is working but alone cannot be used to log in. What is the issue? Is the keyboard disconnected or is it faulty? It has stopped responding suddenly. I have important files on my Macbook pro.
