not delevering mails

In some cases my mail is not being delivered when I am using my iCloud account. This problem does not exist when I am using a Google account. What could cause this issue?

It is the other way around, the mail that I am sending to people with my iCloud account comes in their spam. When I am using my gmail account, this doesn't happen. Me is told that this issue could exist if I am not seen as a contact by the recipient. But that means that I cannot use my iCloud account for the first communication. Strange!
