iphone 7 back camera focus problem

I noticed my iphone 7 back camera focusing problem when taking photo of papers. The right side of papers, the texts, are blurry. When I manually focus on right side by tapping, then the left side blurs. Lens is very clean and no case, I already reset settings.

This is from my iphone 7 back camera:

I tried everything at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203040 to fix this issue but these did not work for me. I called Apple Support last week and told about the problem. Then I sent my iphone to Apple Service Provider. Finally service has changed the camera and issue has been fixed.

I have the exact same problem. 30 plus year professional photographer. On wide shots (landscape) tap to focus in the middle and the left side of the image exhibits a radial blurr (looks like camera movement). Tap on the left side of the screen and the left side now appears sharp, but the right side goes haywire. Those are all on wide shots. Move in extremely close (almost macro) and the image is sharp in all four corners. Repeatable on multiple high quality photo apps, including RAW and TIFF. The phone/camera has never been dropped, abused etc. iPhone 7, 128GB.

I too tried all of the Apple suggestions without success. My only conclusion is that the hardware is defective and has always been. It went unnoticed because I always had a high end DSLR in my hand and never used the phone for pictures. Since it's out of warranty - I'm bummed! Looking at several posts here, I've seen several people describing the exact same issue.
