Left AirPod won’t register in the charging case

My left AirPod won’t register in the charging case. I noticed my right AirPod was charging normally where my left would even register in the case. There was no blink of the little light in the Center if the case nor did it show up when I pulled up the overview of my aipods. What is and how can I fix this problem
