Can’t find my MacBook Air IMEI via iCloud.

Hi all. I have my MacBook Air stolen a couple of days ago, and now I need to give the police it’s IMEI so they can try to find it.

I'm trying to find it on find my iPhone page but it doesn’t show IMEI, only the model and OS version. The same thing in iCloud preferences on iPhone’s settings.

It shows the IMEI only of my iPhone.

Maybe it’s because i’ve locked Mac in find my iphone, I don’t know.

Does anyone know how I can get IMEI of my stolen Mac?

Hi, Vadim_Leno !

Apple desktop and laptop computers do not have IMEI numbers. However, they do have serial numbers. You can use the link below to discover your serial number, but the easiest way may be to locate the receipt from the purchase of the MacBook Air - it should show the serial number there.

Find the serial number of your Apple product

Good luck !

Hi again.

Thanks for your advice. Unfortunatelly, I still cant find serial number. I have chacked iTunes preferences, as well as Find my iphone option. My macbook air is in the devices list, but when I click on it i only see the model and OS version. At the same time, when I click on iPhone it shows the full info, including IMEI.

Any other suggestion?

Thanks in advance!
