Brightness of my phone dimming when the phone heats up like when playing PUBG.

Brightness of the screen dimming automatically when the phone gets heated up like when playing heavy games like PUBG. Is this happening to everyone or does my phone have a hardware defect

Screen dims randomly I need to know why my phone dims randomly. I have a 13 pro max and it dims randomly just as my 10 did. Auto brightness is off and power save is off. I haven’t noticed any pattern of when this occurs. If it’s a glitch I’d like to know if it has a fix. There is also no way to turn the brightness back up. It just goes back to bright on its own.

No. This is what iPhone does when it gets too hot, cause it's trying to cool itself down.
