No Nightshift on Mac Mini

On my brand new Mac Mini the "Nightshift" options are not available in the display settings. I'm using a Samsung 49" Monitor. How can I enable Nightshift?

Why is Dark Mode Turning Off Automatically? One of the joys of the Apple ecosystem is that things just work as they are supposed to, until they don't. I recently upgraded from a mid-2010 iMac to an M1 Mac Mini, and for the most part, it has been great. Running a 32-inch LG Ergo Monitor is great, but even though I have it set to Dark Mode, it seems like every morning it reverts back to auto mode. Is anyone else having a similar issue? Any solutions? Is this just a bug?

Your Monitor is not compatible with Night Shift.

FWIW, there are third-party apps that emulate Night Shift. I forget their names and I don't know if they will work.
