Ctrl key not working

I realized my Ctrl key was not working because no action was able to do and even i opened the keyboard viewer and all keys were working fine but Ctrl key not.

FINALLY I SOLVED IT GOING TO: System preferences -> Keyboard -> Modifier Keys

and switch control key from NO ACTION TO CONTROL KEY :)

My Ctrl key is recognized as my Cmd key When I use my ctrl key on my keyboard it uses Cmd instead. How do I fix this. On keyboard viewer when i press ctrl it shows cmd pressed instead. System Preferences modifier key doesn't do anything either.

Ctrl key produces Cmd+Option+Ctrl+Shift MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019) Mojave (version 10.14.5) I have a brand new Macbook Pro that has an issue with the control key. When I press control it activates the modifier keys (Cmd+Option+Ctrl+Shift) simultaneously. First I thought my control key just wasn't responding, so I ran the virtual keyboard viewer where I realized the control key was activating all four keys. I thought it might be a hardware issue with the laptop keyboard, but an external keyboard produces the same issue so it appears to be a software issue.

7 8 9 I O P J K L keys are not working in Macbook Air. 7 8 9 I O P J K L keys are not working in Macbook Air. I tried disabling Mouse Keys from System Preferences -> Accessibility but still these keys are not working. Also I tried pressing Option key 5 times, no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
