Processing Payment

Hi, I've just downloaded NORD VPN and when I downloaded it on my iPhone it said at the bottom "processing payment". I know it's not free but didn't think I'd have to pay by just downloading it. Cany anyone advise if I have actually paid for the app and if so how I cancel the payment or request a refund??? Thanks.
