im unable to watch any of the videos stored on my phone. They say I have to download them but I took them on my phone. Can anyone help?

Can you please check if they are uploaded to iCloud?
Head to Settings > Photos, and if 'Optimise iPhone storage' option is on, this is why your photos and videos are stored in the cloud and you have to download them first.
Switch for 'Download and Keep Originals' if you want all of your photos and videos to be stored on the phone.
Mind the storage.
