Nucleus 7 bluetooth device paring with a MacBook air

Hi,

I have a Nucleus 7 cochlear implant that is compatible on any apple iPhone model, however, I can not bluetooth connect my cochlear's to my MacBook Air.

Is there any update I need to get for my laptop for this to be available?

Or has there not yet been any movement to make MacBook's Hearing Aid compatible?
