Want to restore my iMac to out-of-box status....please help clarify some steps.

My 2013-14 iMac runs extremely slow and I believe has a bunch of duplicate information. I don't use it often because it is so slow, instead using my mid 2105 MacBook Pro. Would like to start fresh with this and erase everything and reinstall, as if it were just out-of-the-box.

I have already erased the Macintosh HD, my startup disk and reinstalled Mojave. But do I also need to erase the Apple HDD ST1000DM003 Media disk to ensure everything is off? Also, it is at 1gig in size, the Container disk 1 has 971.19GB free, and the Macintosh has 971.13GB free.

When I was in recovery startup mode, it did not give me the option to erase the Apple HDD ST1000DM003 Media, nor the Container disk. The instructions on the Apple site are not very clear when explaining this portion.

Any advice is appreciated.
