automation and MS Word

Hello-

The more recent Mojave updates have broken automation's compatability with MS Word 2011. This was used by the Zotero plug-in, which is quite necessary for my work. MS word previously appeared in automation under System Preferences -> Privacy -> Automation.

I tried to test using a terminal command to see if Word could be accessed via automation a different way., but it appears that Mojave has broken all automation for word. I received the following error.

Not authorized to send Apple events to Microsoft Word. (-1743)

Is there any way of somehow manually getting Word added back to the Automation tab?
