Has anyone been able to restore their iPod Nano 6th Generation using Mojave iTunes?

I've been trying to restore my iPod Nano 6th Generation on the Mojave iTunes and so far I have been unsuccessful. It says it is "Contacting the iPod software update server" but it goes on for hours and doesn't connect at all. No errors have come up, but it just doesn't connect. My internet works because I've done homework with it trying to restore in the background, but it won't restore at all. Can anyone help me?
