Trouble with YouTube Sign in Apple TV 3rd Generation SOLVED

I previously had the problem of signing into my YouTube/Google Account on my 3rd generation Apple TV. It would only go to a black screen each time in YouTube Settings or the Subscriptions page. I just solved the problem by clearing Cookies and History in the YouTube app on the Apple TV. After clearing both, I was finally provided an activation code to enter via phone or other device. I'm finally logged in under my Google/YouTube account on my Apple TV! Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
