business apple id

Hi,

So I finally made by the Byzantine process of becoming a business.apple.com customer.

This finally permits me, for my 10 people business, to buy software and distribute it to apple id's that I created for my company.

But.. I tried it with the first two..

Person I: has his own appleid for years, has his calendars, emails, notes and photos. On the company Mac she used this appleid. Now.. If I force her to use her new, company appleid.. she will no longer have all this.

what is the idea of apple for devices that are used half for the company and half for private. Say.. her iPhone. She bought it BYOD.... but she needs to use some software of the company. But she wants to photograph her son.. will this be on the cloud of the company apple-id.. or hers?

How is this done right?

Whether the photos will be on the company apple-id or her ID depends on which ID is being used on the phone. Some things she can try.

She can add her email accounts to Mail in addition to any work related email accounts.

Eric, I now analized you links. Thanks a lot. I know these technologies. But my question was more on how to manage devices, content with apple id’s and not.. once the person is set up how to share notes/calendars etc.

Now I made appleid for some colaborators and it seems they cannot “share” documents in their icloud. Example I have a worker that has a numers sheet that we all use.. with her new “business” appleid.. it seems she cannot share it
