How do I retrieve a PUK code

I'm new to the Apple world and I won a iPad at my work's Christmas party, I just recently had this issue for some reason and it asked for my PUK code? What us It? Where do I find it or get one?

Sorry, Puk code is a carrier feature.

On your ipad go to settings - cellular and see what is listed.

There nothing more I can do to help, if you don't have a cellular data provider. They are the only one who provides puk code.

google puk code and you'll see it is all carrier related features.

So you only use wifi on it?

Are you able to use the ipad when there is no wifi?

So it's a wifi only not wifi and cellular data ipad?

Okay, but I don't use the cellular portion ,I just use it for the internet as a computer,so therefore I have no cellular carrier. Would I then contact my internet carrier instead?
