Google Chrome Issues

Problem was that Google would immediately relaunch after being closed. Force quit did not work either. I was getting all kinds of random popups and tabs opening, and phony sites (including apple support) some locking my computer (see screen shots)I was able to clear Chrome somehow using Safe Mode. I downloaded Chrome again and reinstalled (same problem). I have cleared it again and run the Disk Utility. Now, is there anything else I should do before I try to download and reinstall Chrome?
