I have tried opening up the silver Apple TV remote with a coin however the opening is getting stripped trying to open it. I tried a screw driver with a cloth, tried to pry it open - nothing. Any hints? I don’t have any putty so welcome thoughts. Thanks.

It should be easy with a coin, no real force needed, unless it has become sticky somehow.
Make sure to turn counter-clockwise, for a quarter turn. Then it is loose to pick up with your fingers.
It clicks in and out of place for the closed position, so there is just slightly more resistance to start the turn.

Unfortunately it isn’t easy and every time I try to do as directed it strips the tuning area. If that makes sense? No battery is in that I know. Any other ideas?
