I have a problem where they grey box with Autocorrect suggestions (also the keyboard if using the onscreen keyboard) covers the bottom of the screen, including the text entry box if it is located there, as with WhatsApp Web. This is so annoying as I am typing blind! Is there a fix?

Thanks for the update. Since the steps previously provided didn't resolve your issue, I would recommend backing up and restoring your iPhone.

I’m sorry, that article is completely irrelevant to my problem. Here is the bottom of the screen:
When I enter the text entry box then this happens:
That leaves me typing blind!
Thank you for trying to help me, I was hoping that someone would have a specific solution to a specific problem, rather than generic solutions. I think it has happened since the last iOS update (12.1.3) but I’m not certain.

Two days ago it was worse than ever (there was a white box above the grey one) and suddenly it has resolved itself! No idea why!! Very frustrating while it lasted though.
