Disable the bottom gray bar on the screen when typing on the external keyboard

Hi guys,

How do I disable the bottom gray bar that always pops-up when you're typing on an external keyboard. I've added a screenshot below.

It's quite annoying because it covers a portion of the screen, especially if the area you're typing on is at the bottom.

Any tips on how to get rid of this? Thanks in advance!
